5월 13일 How to make a "ps2"This is the game we made. To make this game, you need:
transistors, LED, LCD, EEPROM, CPU (68HC11), memory latch, decoder, switches, crystal, capacitor, battery, power switch, a box
How to make the game: 1. design PCB board 2. solder components on the manufactured board 3. testing connections and memory write/read 4. write program for the game and test 5. put the board connect power with battery and drill holes for switches/LCD screen on the box. Put everything in the box and glue the switches/LCD screen. 6. Final test
man, this takes totally 2 weeks!!! I was almost crazy testing all the soldering connections and the program on the board. Crazy!

 Following is the result of the micro controller designing competition. The object of this competition is first to design a PCB board and solder components such as capacitors, LEDs, LCDs, resistors, crystals... to the manufactured board. We also needed to design the memory address coding to map the CPU (motorola 68HC11) to the EEPROM (ROM). Then we designed our system for various usage. Our design is to make a gameboy to play a game of bomb diffuser.

Forgive me for indulging in all the nice temptations in china, like food, clothes, sandals... I didn't know how much I love those stuff till I was having my last dinner in Chongqing before my flight. When I'm in austin, tho' it also has lots of pleasures can't be enjoyed in china, I just keep missing my parents and the nearly 2 months I've spent there.

As expected, I only exercised for about an hour and got myself exhausted. I was on the elliptical for about 20 min and couldn't finish my program anyhow. Later some upperbody workout tired me out. My arms are still sore today. Though I already knew the result of my slacking off, it cost great effort to pick it up again :( . It should be of the same principle for other things , for instance: GRE vocabulary. It was really a headache at the beginning, but when it turns into a habbit, it's no big difference from having my breakfast. Sometimes, it just needs a little courage to get started, a bit of consistency to keep it moving and someone to share the achievement. 7월 16일 IT'S FREAKING BORINGDon't know since when it turned so boring here, or maybe b/c I turned more party freak?
Shopping & dinning seem to be my only entertainment. But think about it, I can shop nice stuff & eat nice dishes w/ such low price, it may worth all the travel.
Actually I'm never a party freak, I don't like going clubbing or house party all week along. That's just not my life style. For a CS & E.E. honor, what I really like is dancing with my diodes in a club called ENS ( j/k ).
When school starts, I just have no time go clubbing, esp. last semester's job. Don't know why, seems to miss the days in clubs on 6th street, though only very a few of them.
Frankly speaking, the decoration of pubs & clubs are much better here in china than in the states, price wise. But the style, the way people dance, the reason they're there.. are just way too different.
The clubs in beijing is much better than the ones in chongqing, the one we went to is called MIX, the DJ is a black, his mixing is really great. People there dance better, tho also a bit awkward.
Anyways, I've done the "inspection" work of clubs here & there. Totally frustrated. I think I'll stop bar hopping or clubbing, instead, start studying.

6월 25일 Girl wants from Dad is the gift itself, while from lover is the action of buying her the gift.When I was packing, suddenly thought about guys' buying gifts to girls.
Sometimes, when a couple are shopping around the market or jewellery store. Sometimes, girls will keep staring at some items, bracelet for example, and keep saying that "oh, it's so cute, look it's so beautiful...." maybe even for 10 minutes. At that time, some stupid guys will say "ya...yes...hmm...right..." while doing NOTHING. Then the girl will piss off because the guy doesn't understand that she's implying him to buy it as a gift for her. Then the guy suddenly feels like what the hell is going on? why she was so happy just then and now so pissed off in just a second.
That is a typical story. And sometimes, when the guy understands why the girl was acting like that, then he might say "let's go back,i wanna buy it for you.How about that?". Then the girl would be even more angry, because he started to think about buying her the gift because she ASKED!! Usually the girl would piss off more and walk away without talking with him.
We all know that guys are stupid, making stupid mistakes to piss off girls.
Actually , the guy made two big mistakes.
First, if he's smart enough, when the girl keeps saying something is beautiful, cute... implying him to buy it for her, he should not ask her, just take out the wallet and buy it and give it to her in front of her.
Second, if he's stupid, he might made the mistake of not got her implying at the first time, when she explains to her, he should NOT ask her something like "Then, let's go back, i'll buy it for you"... That's really stupid thing to do , because what girls want is not the thing you're buying her, but the feeling that you have her in mind and surprising her from time to time. At this situation, this stupid boy, if he still has any smart guts inside, he should just apologize his stupidness "I'm sorry, I didn't get it at that time, I'll try to work it out next time" and just let it go. Then if this guy is really smart and wants his girl to be super happy, he should go back some other time by himself and buy the thing the girl wanted and send it to her in some other occassion. I promise, the girl will feel on top of the world and love you much much more.
Sometimes, people say what's wrong with guys asking the girl if she likes something and buy it for her after getting her permission. Well, dude...(guys are hard to teach).
To girls, men other than boy friend will ask " Will you be happy if I buy XXX for you?... Do you like XXX?... You want me to buy XXX?" usually, that man is Dad. Only my father will use this method before buying me something. Because, what girls want from men buying gift is different . For Dad or other uncles, friends..., what girl wants is the thing itself. Say, for my birthday, I want a car, then I talk to my dad I want a mercedes ( notice: this is not sugar-dad :) ). Dad will ask me about the car and buy it, and I'm super happy because I got a Mercedes!!! For boy friend and lover..., what girl wants is not the thing itself, it is the action that the guy is buying stuff for her, and surprising her. Say, for my birthday, I want a car, and my lover knows I want a mercedes, but he's not able to afford it, but he secretly earns money to buy me a toyota and surprise me at my birthday party, and I'm super happy because it's Him buying the car for me, and he remembers I talked to him about how I wanted a car...

-- Women. " 6월 15일 Boys don't cry. Girls don't poop.Well, there are some exceptions. Boys like my boyfriend and my cousin do cry. Girls like me and Lucky do poop, esp. Lucky. She can poop twice everyday and since she knows nothing called "manner", I have to deal w/ it. Eventhough she is pretty cute and a good companion in the day time , she is indeed a sleep-killer at night. She can bark all night at nothing, which is more scary, because at nothing.
I'm always afraid of "ghost" ,no matter it exists or not. I need to be brave, I know.
The other day, an 11 year old girl asked me to get her rid of a little bug. I jumped away at that second and peeked at her yelling "where,where". And she said " you shouldn't be afraid of a bug since you're an adult"
I ask myself, really, am I an adult? I think I've been treating myself still as a kid, whether in my life or relationship. I have been enjoying the shield my family provided all the time although I do look like being independent. When I'm single, I'm independent emotionally but not financially, though I do work part time which is slightly enough for tuition. And now, I'm not even independent emotionally. I'm pretty mad about myself. Why can't I just be the kind that don't poop? I need to spend some time with myself, thinking things through, standing the solitude and searching for a solution.

本来就很憎恨那些用文字来勾勒自己的sex life还以此为骄傲的人，当然忍受不了这听觉上的刺激了，几年的朋友，怎么分开没两年就这样了，国内难道都是这样么？
我一向不是保守的人，在公共场合大谈和朋友大谈sex也是经常的事，我不是50步笑100步，只是我们都是泛泛而谈，从来不谈及自己的private life。what matters is not the subject we are talking about but what we're talking。 本来sex life就是两个人或三个人（为了不得罪某些人,或>3)之间的事，向不相干的人描述sex partner的行为，在我看来不但是没有道德，更重要的是，伤害了被描述者的隐私，如果下次我看到她的男朋友，我真不知道该怎么和他交谈，i think there'll definitely be a picture of she and him making love in a room filled with perfume stuck in my head while i'm talking with him, i'm really worried that i'll stare at his dick , i really wish i will never see him again.
如果两人还在一起还好，最多就是炫耀或者抱怨，如果两人分手了，象流行的用blog或写书的方式记录自己的sex history,一个一个的sex partner，第一个还不skillful啦，第二个很成熟啦，第三个怎么怎么啦。。。在我看来，也太无耻了吧。怎么这些人就从来不顾虑到对别人的影响呢，这一来，大家共同的朋友圈都知道这人，哦，是死鱼，真不知道这些人怎么还能呆在一个圈子里，还有那人的新sex partner将面对怎样的尴尬啊。
哎，果真人老了，这些事看不惯也要唠叨几句了，大家就当我发发脾气好了，不过你说这事也。。
